Cube 2 Fatal Error

Hi there!

I'm writing here because I can't play anymore since 3d now. I can launch the game but when I try to connect on a server, the minimap and the flagfailsound files are loading very slowly and when I finally connect to the server, every players are lagging (so I guess I am the only one really lagging) or my screen freezes after a few seconds of normal game, then crashes and a I get a fatal error message.

I already try to uninstall the game and then re-downloading it but it doesn't work. I try to fix some visual settings or to allow the game through my firewall but none of these worked. Anyway, if anybody has a solution, please tell me

Have you tried using compatibility mode?

I tried but it seems impossible since my sauerbraten is a .bat and not a .exe :/

I play against bots until I fix this -_-
It's horrible.
